History
Qasr Al Muwaiji Al Ain was build in the time of Sheikh Zayed bin Khalifa the First (r. 1855-1909) by his son Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Khalifa. Later it became the home and organizational base at the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan when in 1946 he became the Ruler’s Representative in the Region.

Qasr Al Muwaiji Al Ain in the Eastern Region of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, It is noted as the birthplace of Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. By the current Ruler of Abu Dhabi who is the President of the United Arab Emirates. Qasr Al Muwaiji was built in the early 20th century by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Khalifa Al Nahyan.
